Mallorca, September 2025
A month has passed since our very first CIELO Retreat, and it honestly took some time to fully grasp the magnitude of that week.
For anyone new here: our retreats are carefully curated to slow you down, to soothe the nervous system through movement (this time we focused on Pilates), to awaken creativity through hands-on workshops that reconnect you with your inner artist, to nourish your body with food that makes you glow from within, and to create community—bringing together like-minded women from around the world whose hearts beat to the same rhythm.
Sounds dreamy? Oh, it truly was. But let me start from the beginning.
The girls had already met for a day in Palma, which they spontaneously planned in our WhatsApp group. While the CIELO team was busy with grocery runs, setting up the villa, and getting everything ready, they sent us a group photo—smiling, glowing, already looking like they’d known each other forever.Just like that, any nervousness I still had melted away.
Our first evening began with hugs and a welcome circle by the pool. Within minutes, I knew: this group is something special. You could feel it—everyone genuinely enjoyed each other’s company, curious, open, and present.
That evening, Sofia served her first dinner, and it became clear: we had found the perfect chef. Every dish was infused with so much love, flavor, and soul—it was food that grounded and lifted us at the same time.
The days that followed were a beautiful rhythm of sweaty morning movement sessions led by Kira, long coastal hikes ending with salty dips in crystal-clear calas, creative explorations like pottery, painting, and natural dyeing, and moments of deep stillness—sound baths, guided meditations, cacao ceremony, or simply time to do nothing at all.
We also spent a day in Deià, soaking up the island’s magic and the sea breeze that carries poetry in every gust. In their freetime, the girls explored Valldemossa.
Each day felt easy, slow (though somehow still too fast), and most importantly: safe. Safe to share dreams, visions, even secrets. Safe to rest, to cry, to laugh, to reconnect.
It’s so precious when strangers meet for the first time and within days turn into a sisterhood—women holding space for each other, celebrating each other, and reminding one another of what truly matters.
One of my favorite evenings was the fullmoon ceremony. We gathered outside —a moment to release what no longer served us. Everyone journaled quietly, writing down what they wanted to let go of. Then, under a cloudy sky where the moon stayed hidden, we burned our papers together. As the last pages turned to ash, a soft breeze passed—and suddenly, for just three seconds, the clouds parted. The full moon appeared bright shining right on us. We all fell silent. With goosebumps, we came together in a long, quiet hug—half in disbelief, half in awe. It felt like the universe had whispered: you’re on the right path.
When I look back, what remains is this deep sense of connection and fulfillment. A quiet energy that still lingers—a glow that comes from inside.
The outcome of this retreat wasn’t just beautiful photos or memories; it was sisterhood. The most meaningful thing we could have shared in those golden September days.
I can’t wait to see what the next months and 2026 will bring.
Thank you, from my heart, for following along and being part of this journey.
With love,Rahel & the CIELO team
